The First Original Universe from VURKHEN
CINCO SOLES: THE RISE OF THE LAST GOD is the first original universe from VURKHEN, currently in production.
Set in contemporary Mexico, the story follows a young man facing a severe heart condition and an uncertain future.
As his condition worsens, desperation drives him to search for answers beyond conventional medicine. His search eventually leads him into the world of Mexican brujería, where ancient traditions, rituals and beliefs begin to reveal something far more real than he could have imagined.
Something is sleeping inside him.
And something ancient is looking for it.
What begins as a desperate search for hope becomes a journey into a hidden world of gods, spirits and supernatural forces.
As he becomes increasingly immersed in this world, he discovers that his existence is connected to a forgotten conflict that began long before humanity stopped believing in the gods.
A conflict that never truly ended.
The deeper he goes, the more he begins to question everything he thought he knew about his own life, his illness and the forces surrounding him.
Until the truth finally awakens.
The line between man and god disappears.
And with it comes a choice:
accept what he has become… or declare war against the gods themselves.
The first volume marks the beginning of a larger mythology.
A world where gods, monsters, spirits and ancient forces are not simply stories from the past.
They are real.
And their return will have consequences for humanity.
CINCO SOLES: THE RISE OF THE LAST GOD explores mortality, despair, faith, identity and the consequences of confronting the powers that humanity has worshipped for generations.
The first volume ends with an awakening.
The rise of the Last God.
